All of our Adult Assessments are carried out by Jess Hendrickx. Jess has been carrying out non-clinical & clinically supervised assessments since 2022 and, to date, has assesed in excess of 500 people. She was trained by Sarah Hendrickx and the team at Axia in Chester. All of our assessments include a free initial screening, are all carried out via Zoom, and you are provided with a report post-assessment. We do not assess anyone under the age of 18, however, we can assist with information gathering for your young people if they have an assessment booked elsewhere.

We offer 3 tiers of assessment, plus post-assessment support, to hopefully fit the needs of the majoirty of people regardless of where you are with discovering your neurodivergent profile. Please see below for an overview of the assessments and an opportunity to find out more in-depth information on each tier. If you have any questions about any of the services we offer, availability and bookings please email: assessments@asperger-training.com

Other Services

Autistic/ADHD Profile sessions (3 or 6)

Jess also offers a 3 or 6 session mentoring package for people post-diagnosis or self-identification. You do not need to have completed an assessment with Jess at Hendrickx Associates or elsewhere - we believe the self identifcation is valid. The purpose of these sessions is not to assess you for autism or ADHD but to look at your autistic and/or ADHD profile and work out your strengths and areas where you are having difficulties. Each of the first 3 sessions will focus on a different part of the disgnostic criteria - social & communication, flexibity of thought (routines, change, etc), and interests and sensory differences. You will then be provided with notes from each session. Jess also offers a follow up 3 sessions to provide you with information on how to best support yourself moving forward. These are very structure and focused sessions.

Price for 3 sessions - £450. Price for 6 sessions if booked upfront - £750.

Jess also provides mentoring to people - more details on this can be found here.

Testimonials

“Thanks so much for yesterday for being a mirror and giving me more insight about the Audhd. I really feel that your work is lifesaving. At least that is the impact I feel.

“My autism assessment was a very positive experience, in spite of the anxiety and nervousness that I felt in the run up. Jess was very easy to talk to, creating a safe space to discuss my life experiences, and added some interesting insights. I felt supported and heard, and am very glad that I took this step.”

“I have to say, from the bottom of my heart, how absolutely wonderful and delightful the ‘assessment’ was! I just had a really enjoyable time talking with you. Very positive experience and such resonance with your stories and sharing. You really made me feel comfortable being myself and thoroughly accepted and ‘met’ in the dialogue. And so - the me I know myself to be when I’m truly comfortable to be myself and not trying to ensure I don’t take ’too much focus’ showed up. Thank you so much Jess. What a different experience than most people describe receiving a ‘diagnosis’ (inappropriate term as it is for this). It was a very healing experience in itself.” Helen, Psychotherapist

“Just a note to thank you and the team again for the amazing work. Jess's report and our conversation was truly a life-changing moment for me that I am so grateful I've had.”

“I just want to say thank you to Jess for taking me through my assessment gently and for the wisdom shared and validation I felt.”

The assessment experience was great, although I am still taking it in. I found the conversation (and ultimately my diagnosis) helpful, valuable and validating. Jess was so knowledgeable, great at putting me at ease and explaining things - I really felt I was in good hands.”

"Thanks to Jess as I have found this process extremely helpful. It has helped me to make sense of so much and I am so glad that I took the step.”

“Thank you very much to Jess for making me feel so at ease and heard during the assessment. I felt very anxious at the outset and Jess made it a helpful, positive and enlightening experience. I feel like it was a very first positive step in the journey ahead to understand myself and create better coping strategies.

"It's been an overwhelming journey, but I've found the experience so validating. I feel like I now have a good starting point from which I can begin to understand how my brain works - and I know there will be a significant positive impact on my life as a result. I am so glad I took this step and immensely grateful for your time, the report and the resources."

"It was a very good, worthwhile and beneficial call, thank you for all your support and encouragement. It’s a whole new world, exciting, daunting, overwhelming but overall a great step into a new chapter for me, thank you! You clocked it all so well in the report and whilst I didn’t know if to laugh or cry or love it or hate it, I definitely do love it and embrace it all. New chapter, with new horizons and new ‘tools’ to manage life. This has been a fantastic experience and a lot for me to now grasp and learn, and definitely going to look into all the recommended resources."
