Stephanie – Founder of The SEN Bridge & SEN Bridge Practitioner

I am the founder of The SEN Bridge, created from both professional experience and my journey as a mum. Through working closely with schools and families, I identified a significant gap between home and school life for children with Special Educational Needs. When this gap is bridged effectively, children feel safer, less anxious, and more confident—and families feel truly supported.

At The SEN Bridge, I provide welcoming, creative, and nurturing sessions designed to support emotional wellbeing, confidence, and resilience. My approach is compassionate and person-centred, creating a safe space where individuals can grow and thrive.

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and am Level 3 trained in Safeguarding for Children and Vulnerable Adults. My qualifications include diplomas in Advanced Autism Awareness, PDA, Challenging Behaviour, and Art Therapy, alongside Level 3 Sensory Processing Awareness and Lego-Based Therapy. I am committed to continually developing my skills to ensure the highest level of support for those I work with.

I have many years of experience supporting children and adults with learning difficulties, mental health challenges, and communication needs. I work closely with families affected by autism, PDA, ADHD, speech and language delays, dyslexia, and emotional regulation difficulties.

As a parent, I understand how difficult it can be to find the right support—services that genuinely help and professionals who truly understand. That’s where The SEN Bridge comes in. I offer tailored mentoring and coaching to meet each family’s unique needs, helping children and families not just cope, but thrive in everyday life.
